Fan First, Critic Last
I have been a horror fan for quite some time and I am in all the realms of what I call the “Horrorsphere.” Books, movies, TV, video games, even writing my own original horror stories.
It can be tempting to apply a “critical eye” to your media, and often horror is panned by the critics for a variety of trite reasons. My promise to you is that I am a fan first, and a critic dead last.
I look at and review media from a fan’s perspective, with a gentle after touch on facets such as art direction, scripting, etc.
I approach content with positivity in mind, much preferring to celebrate the good as opposed to highlighting the bad. That being said, if something is truly bad, I won’t sugar coat it for you.
On a personal note, I am an animal lover and live on top of a mountain with four dogs and six cats (all straight-from-the-street rescues. I did not set out to have this many cats, but the Feline Distribution System has always loved me).
